The elevated position of the main house allows a fantastic view into the mountains and with 180 degrees a wonderful sea view. The adjoining and nature protection zone offers the guarantee of an unobstructable sea view.
The current total area of 3000 m2 can be extended to 4000 m2.
The own chapel is still in operation and legally valid marriages can be performed there. This also opens up the idea of a luxury event finca with overnight accommodation.
The two wells on the site can produce 7000 l/day each. However, there is also a public water supply from the street, electricity and telephone.
Portocolom has the largest natural harbour on Mallorca, which is now largely used for private boat traffic, but is still one of the most important fishing ports on the island.
The city is divided into an old town area around the port, which is considered by many to be one of the best preserved old town centres in Mallorca, and a touristy urbanisation in the south around the beautiful picture book ndash; bathing bay Cala Marcal. All year round the shops and bars are open like restaurants and also in winter the small town of Portocolom seems lively due to the healthy mixture of locals and visitors ndash; unlike other towns on the coast ndash; animated.
Some very exclusive gourmet restaurants are located here in Portocolom.
Portocolom claims to be the birthplace of the navigator Christopher Columbus. In particular, the name of the municipality reflected the name of the discoverer.
